Celebrated upcoming MMORPG, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen saw hundreds of VIP pledges log into the game this weekend. For a lengthy 33 hours, fans of the game were directed to create new characters and test the game’s systems and content July 31 and August 1.
“Our fans have been really excited to try out some of our biggest feature additions to date,” said Project Producer, Ben Dean. “Features like intelligent encounters were a huge hit with players–not to mention the newly added monk class. They didn’t want to log off.”
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen continues to draw much of its funding from pledges by fans of the game. “Their contributions aren’t just monetary either,” continues Dean. “These are some of the most insightful and creative players in the gaming community. Their feedback in shaping and developing the game has been invaluable.”
Visionary Realms aims its sites towards an Alpha release as its next major milestone, when thousands more gamers who have pledged will be able to play and test the game.
